8 weeks, 8600KM Of Road

Just thought you might like to know that we have just returned from a 8 week 8600km road trip from Adelaide up to Agnes Water QLD with our camper trailer we got from you last December.
I just wanted to let you know how good the camper trailer worked for us, not a problem in the whole eight weeks. In fact we came across someone who’s job was sewing canvas and she commented what good quality the tent was.
I’ve attached a photo of the whole set up at the campsite at Agnes Water.
Thanks again, a great product which I hope we will get years of use from.

6 Month Trip
G’day Michael.
We purchased an off road camper about 12 months ago. We are currently two months into a 6 month trip around Australia and all is going well.
The trailer and tent are holding up well. We have mostly driven on the bitumen and have tackled the odd bit of corrugated dirt road. The camper is performing well.

My wife and I bought a camper from you in July 2010. We have been away in it four times now and thought it about time we send you a testimonial. We bought a lite off-road model with an 18ft tent and we couldn’t be happier with it. When we were looking to buy a camper trailer, we found huge variations in design, features and most of all, price.

We have three young boys, so space was a major consideration. Far Horizon fit the bill perfectly with the huge 18ft tent with full annex – we can fit two sets of camp bunks and two four-shelf camp cupboards in the sleeping area and still have plenty of room to move – and best of all, we have a king size bed! The annex is brilliant – we love the fact that we can put up or take down any of the three walls at any given time quickly and easily – this offers excellent flexibility. We opted for the large Drifta kitchen with return bench and the pull out storage drawer – I could not recommend this highly enough. The kitchen is absolutely amazing – very quick and easy to set up with tonnes of usable bench space and storage. I think this kitchen is an absolute must if you have kids who eat like ravenous sharks. I can’t imagine being without the bench space provided by the return. The pull out storage drawer has also proven itself to be indispensible – it fits an amazing amount of gear and is brilliantly convenient. It makes the storage and retrieval of your gear an absolute breeze – couldn’t do without it.

We’ve found the overall quality to be very good – we’ve had some strong gusty winds and rain and it stood up well with no leaks. The trailer is very sturdy and tows well. The set up is getting quicker each time – we can now get the tent and annex up in around 45min. We love the large windows – on warm days, we open them all and the tent becomes very light and airy whilst keeping the flies and mozzies out.

Every time we have been away, we have had many people come up to us and commented on how impressive it looks and “what a great set up it is” – and they’re right; we love it and so do our kids. I would recommend Far Horizon Campers to anyone looking for a well designed, well built and affordable camper.
